Pacific Northwest Lacrosse Camp


The Edmonds Lacrosse Club is excited to sponsor the 3rd annual Pacific Northwest Lacrosse Camp, a series of camps and clinics for new, experienced, and advanced lacrosse players. This camp is for BOYS AND GIRLS entering 8th through 12th grade. Skilled players and athletes new to this amazing sport will be challenged and trained in a fun, enjoyable atmosphere, learning from premium instructors.

“The Creator’s Game: Mountain to Sea Challenge.” All players meet at the Park Trail Head, 6026 156th ST SW, Edmonds, WA for the Final Competition.

Special Guest: Drew Snider

Drew Snider is a member of the 2014 US National Team and a midfielder for the Denver Outlaws. While playing for the University of Maryland from 2008-2012, he was named to the 2012 NCAA All-Tournament team the same year he played as a team captain in the national championship against Loyola. Snider was a high school standout from O’Dea, twice being named a US Lacrosse High School All-American and the 2006 Washington Lacrosse high school player of the year. He led the Nathan Hale High School lacrosse team to the 2013 championship as head coach and is the inaugural coach for the new O’Dea High School team.  Snider co-founded CitySide Lax which provides off-season lacrosse camps and numerous physical education clinics through the Sticks-To-Schools program.

Nathan Wirtz

Nathan was a midfielder for the University of Idaho Vandals lacrosse team and has been a WALOA official for several years. He is the current head coach for the Edmonds Lacrosse Club (Meadowdale) and has served as a coach for the Snohomish and Woodinville lacrosse clubs.  He currently serves as a part time firefighter in Lake Stevens.

Justin Van Ness

Justin grew up in Anapolis, MD playing lacrosse as long as he can remember. When his family moved west, Justin earned All State twice playing for Bainbridge Island and helped the team win their first state championship in 1992. After playing at Western Washington University, Justin began coaching at Bainbridge Island and became head coach of Queen Anne, Nathan Hale, and Mukilteo. He currently serves as a WALOA High School Lacrosse Official.

Chris Cote

Chris joins the PNW staff this year and brings with him a lifetime of lacrosse experience.  A Michigan native, Chris played NCAA lacrosse with Navy before settling with his family in Snohomish, where he led the Snohomish high school lacrosse team to a division championship in 2012.  Chris operates the select team Time Bandits and other off-season ventures which have helped grow the sport in the north Puget Sound area for years.

David Lin

David has coached high school and youth lacrosse in the WHSBLA for more than 10 years at Roosevelt and Edmonds.  A WALOA certified official, David brings excellent technical knowledge of the game to the coaching staff as well as a strongly positive, high-energy approach to coaching and instruction.  He currently serves as a coach trainer and co-coach in the Edmonds Lacrosse Club youth program.

Scott Carlin

Scott is a Maryland native who attended the University of Maryland where he played NCAA Division 1 lacrosse.  Scott was awarded the 2013 Assistant Coach of the Year by WHSBLA and continues to coach at Kamiak High School as well as with the Edmonds Lacrosse Club youth teams.  Scott is not the quiet one in the bunch and maintains a strong command of the field while delivering fantastic dignity, enthusiasm, and energy.  His mechanical and strategic skill of the game is top notch.

Alex Tindall

Meadowdale alum Alex Tindall is a standout midfielder with the Mount Olive Trojans in North Carolina. Alex was named twice to the Division II All Conference team in the Washington High School Boys Lacrosse Association and once to the All Conference team of the Carolinas. Alex is studying Criminal Justice at Mount Olive.

Jonathan Williams

A Lynnwood native, Jon was named to the WHSBLA All Conference team twice. After graduating, Jon earned a lacrosse scholarship to play at St. Andrews University. Jon went on to play at Colorado Mesa University and is now a Senior Defenseman at Mount Olives where he serves as team captain. Jon is an inspiring player and coach who has experienced first hand how lacrosse provides a platform for success.

Alan Hardwick, Camp Director

Alan is the current president of the Edmonds Lacrosse Club, the high school lacrosse organization serving the Edmonds school district. Alan is a US Lacrosse certified coach who coached youth and high school lacrosse for 5 years before co-founding the Edmonds Lacrosse Club. Prior to coaching lacrosse, Alan coached soccer and basketball for several years with the Northwest Christian Sports League. Alan lives in Edmonds with his wife Kristen and five children.

Aimee Baillargeon, Camp Administrator

Aimee is the owner of the Seattle Event Company. With 20 years of event planning experience, Aimee has created hundreds of memorable events for corporations, philanthropic organizations, and families. Aimee served as the Director of Fundraising for the Edmonds Lacrosse Club having formerly served on lacrosse boards in Oregon.
